So I'm trying out the Jillian Michaels App.....

I am going through a move right now from Denver to Colorado Springs. I am currently switching my employment from the different areas and have found myself gymless/studioless at the moment. Yes, I could pay for a drop in class but between slowly packing and job hunting I am having a hard time committing to any classes at a normal hour. Broke, stressed, and desperate to get movement back in my body.....whats a gal to do?

I listen to Jillian Michaels' Podcast a lot and she's been promoting her now app up lately. I figured I would give it a shot. I am super impressed with all of the different programs she offers. What initially drew me to download the app in the first place was the customization. This is fantastic! She asked me what equipment I have, my fitness levels, and my goals. I honest thought being without equipment I would be very limited to like 2 programs. I was so wrong! (Jillian even has programs for pregnant women in all trimesters! Whaaaaat?)

Right now I am trying out the bikini program. I'm only about 3 weeks deep. I found this program fantastic. The workouts are only 20 mins including warm up and cool down. This is incredible! You could literally do this program anywhere! The programs offer quick interval training that is sure to get your heart rate up and your body sweating. At the end of each workout Jillian asks you rate the workout. If its not tough enough for you the program will adjust! AMAZING! I can't say I've ever seen that before.

If you are into that sort of thing the app even offers a meal plan! You can customize it to any dietary needs! I am somewhere between a vegan and a vegetarian. Its so nice to have options for recipes and not end up eating the same 4 meals.

My one gripe I have with the app is that there is no music while you workout! Luckily I've been working out at home so I'll just turn on Spotify on my laptop while I do the workout. Maybe I am crazy but music is important to a workout. It can really set the pace, mood and energy.

Overall I love this app! I think you could use Jillian's Programs to workout at home or even on your lunch break at work. You can try the 7 min workouts for free today! Woo!
